The CURIS executive board plays a crucial role in driving our organization forward. They guide and inspire club members to take an active role in public health initiatives, ensuring CURIS continues to be a leader in health advocacy and education on campus. The CURIS Executive Board organizes insightful General Body Meetings, forms and nurtures partnerships with local public health organizations, and fosters community in the club. We aim to inspire our members to take an active role in public health initiatives, ensuring CURIS continues to be a leader in health education and advocacy on campus and serves as a resource as members navigate their academic and career journeys.

President

Natasha Matta

Natasha is a senior studying Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience (B.S.). Her public health interests involve mental health, environmental health, reproductive justice, and health behavior. Natasha plans on entering the healthcare consulting field after graduation and hopes to eventually pursue a Master's in Public Health Degree (MPH).

Internal Vice-President

Archita Girmannagari

Archita is a senior studying Neuroscience (B.S.). Her interest in public health surrounds expanding equitable access to healthcare resources. Following graduation, Archita plans on attending medical school and becoming a medical physician.

External Co-Vice President

Albert Shim

Albert is a senior studying Public Health Sciences (B.S.). His public health interests involve environmental health and justice. Albert is also pursuing an Accelerated Master's Degree (M.S.) in Environmental Health Sciences at the University of Michigan, focusing on water quality and PFAS remediation techniques.

External Co-Vice President

Owen Chun

Owen is a junior studying Public Health Sciences (B.S.) and Microbiology (B.S.). His public health interests include infectious disease and food insecurity. Owen hopes to pursue a Master's in Public Health (MPH) and become a licensed public health microbiologist after he graduates.

Social & Recruitment Chair

Maya Kogulan

Maya is a senior studying Public Health Sciences (B.S.). Her public health interests include mitigating and eliminating healthcare disparities in both local and global contexts. After she graduates, Maya plans on attending medical school to serve patients through a public health lens.

Logistics Chair

Shreya Mishra

Shreya is a senior studying Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (B.S.). Her public health interests involve women's health and combatting cultural disparities in the healthcare field. Following graduation, Shreya plans on attending medical school and pursuing a career as a doctor.
